Course Aims and Opportunities

  • The Fashion Sewing Course is an exciting chance for anyone who is interested in learning with basic sewing skills that will culminate in a final garment presentation.
  • The classes will include basic pressing, hand sewing, seam details, pockets, zippers and how to make a garment.
  • The students will end the series with a final presentation of their made garment.
  • This course is a chance to get Donegal back on track to be a leader in the textile & fashion industry locally, nationally & internationally.
  • This programme is taught by a Donegal based Fashion Designer, with interaction from the programme director, NYC Fashion Designer, Sheila Clancy O’Donnell.
