Learn to Draw and Paint with Watercolour
Course Aims and Opportunities
The main aim of the course is that participants would learn basic skills in drawing and painting with watercolour and then go on produce their own paintings.
Term 1: Drawing with Charcoal, Pastels, Pen & Ink
Through a relaxed step by step process participants will develop their creativity and awareness of line, shape, tone, depth, texture, pattern, rhythm and composition through figurative as well as abstract drawing, using a range of different medium. (pencil, charcoal, pastel, pen and ink).
Term 2: Oil Painting
Learn basic skills in painting and produce you own oil paintings! Develop your creativity and awareness of colour, temperature balance, line, shape, tone, depth, texture, pattern, rhythm and composition figurative and abstract painting, using oil and acrylic paint. Also tips and techniques in planning and preparation of paintings

Term 1: 30 September, Tuesday, 7pm – 9pm, 8 weeks
Term 2: 27 January, Tuesday, 7pm – 9pm, 8 weeks
