Course Aims
Microsoft Publisher is a writing, editing, design and production package which enables the user to create professional looking documents, manuals, leaflets, brochures and so on with the simplest of commands. It is known as a desktop publishing package (DTP), a term used to describe powerful word processing, editing and design tools. The finished document can be printed out on a laser printer or saved to a file and possibly sent to a commercial printer for printing. All the typesetting can be done within Publisher making the transfer from computer to printer quick and efficient.
